The week that has been.
This week has been full of amazing, frustrating and crazy things. I am attempting to not count my chickens before they hatch so I will be keeping my cards close to my chest. BAM!! Double metaphor bonus points.
I did start reading the second book in the Kingkiller Chronicles.

This fabric has a very nice color to it and is one of the more subtle ties I have made. The great thing about Easter colored ties is you can wear them year round.
Do you also love bow ties? No one needs 52 bow ties, so I was thinking I could share the making of them with others.

This was the week that I discovered Minecraft… again. Thanks Harper. Since Minecraft is just legos for adults it is really easy to lose and hour or six in. This isn’t my first time experiencing this phenomenon, but I am having a hard time pulling myself away from it this time.
The Bow Tie Project Week Fifteen

First Batik tie. Look how pretty it is!! When sewing it the fabric was so stiff that I almost didn’t add interfacing. But luckily I did. Apparently when batik fabrics are washed for the first time it washing away the last of the wax left over from the dying process and softens the fabric.
