If you are unaware it is Christmas eve, which of course means that it is time to celebrate capitalism!!! yay. More important is the eating of tasty food and seeing family and friends. Since I have been having a great time with my ankle it has been hard to find the Christmas spirit as much as I would like. To be fair watching non-stop hallmark Christmas movies since October has helped a little.

Sarah has been a rock star and spent most of yesterday afternoon making dough and I woke up this morning to the sounds of her baking up a storm. We are talking sugar cookies, ginger snaps, and other amazing things. Baking is such a wonderful holiday thing to do.

While she has been baking I have been resting my ankle then wrapping presents then resting then help bake then resting, etc. It has been quite a nice morning. Soon we will be off to my parents house to have some present time and food and then tomorrow we will be off to see Sarah’s family.
